Amit Kumar Sahoo is an experienced Credit and Risk professional with over 8.5 years of experience in Credit Risk and Relationship Management. Currently, he is working as an AVP in the Wholesale Credit Review Unit of HSBC, where he is responsible for overseeing credit and risk analysis for the US geography. Amit's previous work experience includes working as an AVP with Yes Bank and as an Associate Relationship Manager with ICICI Bank. During his tenure at ICICI Bank, Amit was responsible for credit appraisal and risk management, including credit appraisal of working capital/term loan/project loan financing for medium to large size corporates. He also conducted industry analysis, project/company analysis, and assessed various risks associated with a credit proposal. Additionally, Amit carried out loan documentation for both existing and new relationships and maintained and deepened relationships with existing clients while acquiring new corporate relationships in the region. Amit holds a PGDCM degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from NIT Rourkela. He completed his schooling at DAV Public School, Unit - 8, Bhubaneswar. With his extensive experience in Credit and Risk analysis, Amit is a valuable asset to any organization.
